[ Tea ∪ Me ] 2021- In Progress : moment After the moment object 01

An accumulation of tea leaves I have shared with many people over the past years.
Within the ratio of tatami, time and memory of tea are sculpted.
In the next place, it will reappear in another form.
Tea becomes me.
This is the first work of a series, presented at the exhibition IN-EI at Gallery SUGATA in July 2025.
Various kinds of tea leaves are assembled within a ratio metaphorically drawn from the tatami.
Together with a lighting piece inspired by the form of a ladle, created by a product designer,
and a hanging scroll made by an artist working with Nishijin weaving,
the work was exhibited as a conceptual tea space composed of tea, light, and textile.

この数年間で私が様々な人と共に飲んだ茶葉の集積。
畳のレシオの中に茶の時間と記憶を彫刻。
次の場所では形を変えて立ち現れる。
茶はわたしになってゆく。

Gallery SUGATAで2025年7月に開催されたエキシビジョン「IN-EI」にて発表した連作の一作目。
畳をメタファーにしたレシオに様々な種類の茶葉を集積させ、プロダクトデザイナーによる柄杓をモチーフにした照明、
西陣織をテーマに作品を制作するアーティストの掛け軸と共に構成した概念的茶空間として展示。
