プロダクトデザイン、アートディレクション、コンセプトメイキング、アートワーク制作など、領域を横断したクリエイティブ活動を行う。食器、家具、オーディオ製品、工業機械など、多岐にわたるプロダクトデザインを手がける一方、様々な分野のクリエイターとの共創を通じて、自然・人・社会の関係性を主題とした表現にも取り組む。 手仕事と現代の工業技術が融合した「インダストリアルクラフト」にも注力し、地域や企業の風土・本質を活かした良い循環を生む「プロセスのデザイン」を創作の根幹にしている。 京都を拠点に活動。

- Product Designer
Founder of STUDIO YOSHIHIRO MIKAMI, Engaged in cross disciplinary creative work spanning product design, art direction, concept development, and artwork production. Designs range from tableware and furniture to audio equipment and industrial machinery. In parallel, collaborates with creators across various fields to explore expressions that examine the relationships between nature, people, and society. Focuses on “industrial craft,” where handwork meets modern manufacturing, and places “process design” which fosters positive cycles rooted in the essence of local culture and industry at the core of the practice. Based in Kyoto.
