WASHI WATASHIは、手漉き和紙産業の持続的な活性を目的に、さまざまな産地と手漉き和紙職人と協働し、産地ごとの特色ある手漉き和紙原材料、技法を取り入れながらも、新たな天然素材、技術との融合による新規性を併せ持つクリエイターのアイデアを形に変え製品化するブランドです。

I launch a new brand "WASHI WATASHI" that take shape product and art involved with Washi.
WASHI WATASHI, aiming for the sustainable vitalisation of the handmade Japanese paper ‘Washi’ industry, is a brand that is collaborating with the places of production and craftsmen, transforming creators’ novel ideas using not only the particular materials and techniques of each area but also new natural materials and technologies to create unique forms and products.
