1940’s Europe, refrains from any unnecessary embossments and creates a moderate form while preserving the industrial nuances. The copper plate is worked using a metal spinning, resulting in an exterior finish that makes full use of copper’s qualities. The interior, on the side of the light source, has a clear coating to prevent aging. The combination of the expressive colors of the exterior, which will naturally age over time, and the appeal of the unchanging intrinsic copper color of the interior, allows you to enjoy two different expressions over the passage of time.
経年変化と変わらない素材の色、 異なる表情を併せ持つカッパーランプ。
1940年代にヨーロッパで使用されていたヴィンテージのランプシェードをモチーフに、余分な凹凸をとり、工業的なニュアンスを残しながらフォルムを整えた中庸なフォルムのカッパーランプ。銅板をヘラ絞りで成形し、外面は銅の素地を活かした仕様。内面の光源側はクリアコートでエイジングを防ぎ、経年によりエイジングしてゆく外面の表情と、内面の変わらない銅素材本来の魅力といった、異なる2つの表情を時間の経過とともに愉しむ。
