WASHI MOLD made from compressed molded Washi
WASHI MOLD covers the bottle of Japanese alcohol ‘Sake’ as a shock absorber and packaging.
The cover and the empty bottle can be set to use as a flower vase.
The imbalanced texture on the surface of the cover shows unique fibrous Washi.
Usually packages are disposed of after use of the contents; however,
this cover product can be reused as a flower vase sustainably.

和紙を圧縮成型する技法で制作したWASHI MOLD。
日本酒のガラスボトルに厚みを持たせたWASHI MOLDカバーを被せ、
緩衝材（外箱）として、また日本酒が空になった後にもフラワーベースとして使える、
和紙特有の繊維質を含む凹凸のあるテクスチャが特徴のカバープロダクト（パッケージ）
として提案。通常内容物が無くなると捨てられるパッケージを、
役割を終えたあともフラワーベースとして成立させるサスティナブルなカバープロダクト。
